Club La-La Land Crafts May 2019 Club Kit Reveal!

Hello!  It's May 15th and that means it's time to reveal the NEW Club La-La Land Kit!  This month's them is all about "Get Well" It features Doctor Marci and 3 adorable pigs who could use some "get well" wishes!

For my first card, I used the sweet little pig with the crutch.  First I layered some bandage patterned paper on top of some white card stock die cut into a scalloped rectangle.  Then I used the largest frames die and cut a piece of blue patterned paper.  I also layered on a grey gingham oval with some white scallops behind it.  Once I was finished with my background layers, I was ready to add my image and die cuts!  I die cut my "get well" sentiment from some red patterned paper and trimmed off the "soon" portion I adhered that to the top left of my oval with some glue and then assembled my pill bottle.  I tucked that in behind my little piggy and added the heart beat die layered on some foam foam.  To finish the card off, I added a few enamel dots and some highlights with my white gel pen.

For my second card, I created a little hospital scene.  First I layered up so

me patterned papers to mimic the flooring and wallpaper of my room.  I used a thin strip of grey card stock for the baseboard and added my colored images on top with foam tape.  Then I die cut the heart beat from some red card stock and added that to the bottom of the card.  For my sentiment, I die cut the "get well soon" and trimmed the "get" off so that I could layer it to the side.  I just love how this turned out!  So cute!!!
