For my Guest DT inspiration card, I decided to use Rosie Fairy.  Isn't she just adorable.  I have to tell you, this has become my new favorite stamp!  From the beautiful rose to her wings and that little polka dot headband is just too cute!  Love it!  I recently ordered some new square dies so I wanted to try them out on this project.  The Gina Marie X stitched die is amazing!  Just look how yummy it is!  I will definitely be ordering all the other shapes as well!  For my 3 dies, I used the Scallop Square die from Sizzix, the X stitched die from Gina Marie, and the banner punch from Stampin Up (possibly my favorite punch of all time).

Swing into Summer

Hello from Larisa!  Today I have a sweet image to share with you!  This is Summer Swing and you can find her HERE in the Saturated Canary shop.  Too early for summer images?  No way!  :)  I told you guys, I'm ready for summer!  As a teacher, I always enjoy having the summers off.  And now that I have a little one to spend it with, I love them even more!  This is one of my all-time favorite images!  That hair...to die for!  That "poofy" dress-- so much fun to color and I love the frilly skirt underneath!  Too cute!

I kind of wanted this card to look like Spring exploded all over it so I added some fun butterfly paper, a ton of paper flowers, some pearl swirls, and a die cut butterfly to top it off.  Oh on a side note, if you have not checked out Gina Marie's dies, you need to run, don't walk, to her shop and snap them up.  They cut beautifully and they are unbelievably affordable!  You can find them HERE!

Kraftin Kimmie April Release Day!

Hello!
It's finally here!!! The RELEASE of Kraftin Kimmie APRIL 2016 clear stamp sets!!!

We've released ALL five of the new clear stamp sets that we've been previewing all week and we're celebrating with an amazing krafty HOP! Here we go!

For this card, I decided to use this adorable morning coffee image from the Smart Assy 2 set.  I love the little curlers in her hair, her mud mask, and her slippers!  Too cute!  I think we've all looked like this a time or two :)  I wanted to create a shaker card so I die cut this cute scallop frame from my old chunky Sizzix dies.  Sometimes I forget I have these and I sort of rediscovered them recently.  Then I added some chunky glitter that I got at Target around Valentine's Day.  I die cut a navy "hello" for the center and added some paper roses and pearls.  I really like how this turned out!  It's so girly and I love girly things :)

This is from the Going Places stamp set.  Unfortunately, this is part of the retired rubber, but it might still be possible to find it in another store.  For this card, I used an adorable paper pad from American Crafts called Welcome Spring.  It's really an Easter collection, but there are some super cute spring papers too! (as you can see).  As usual, I colored the image with Copics, and I added a pretty little butterfly that I got at a local Scrapbook expo

Smile, It's Your Birthday!

Hello!  It's Release time again at All Dressed Up and there are some beautiful stamps just waiting to be colored up!  Today, I'm Sharing: Smile It's Your Birthday!  Isn't she just adorable!!!!  As a part-time photographer, this stamp was perfect for me!  I just love your soft wavy curls and those little shoes are adorable!  You can find her HERE in the shop.

For this card, I just some adorable camera paper from American Crafts and worked from there.  I never really have a specific plan for my cards.  I just sort of work organically.  I add a little, take a step back, and then add a little more so I never really know how they are going to turn out.  I really do like this one though.  I love the color scheme and of course the pretty flowers, pearls, rhinestones, and beautiful image.  Be sure to check out the blog and Facebook page for more sneak peeks.  You won't wan to miss them!!!

The Fan

Hello!  Today, I have a fun sports card to share with you guys.  This is The Fan and you can find her HERE in the Saturated Canary Shop.  So, I have to tell you, I love this image!  While I never really played sports myself (I was in drill team), I love to make sports-themed cards!  They're just so fun!  I love her little baseball cap and her little flag...so cute!!

For this card, I wanted to use some really cute sports paper, so I dug through my old scrapbook paper (12X12) and found this collection.  It's from American Crafts and it's called the Junior Collection.  Usually, I only use 6X6 patterned paper because the print is much smaller and works better for cards, but I really liked this paper and decided to use it.  Unfortunately, you can't really see the wording very well at the bottom, but it has some fun sporting words on it like "radical, play, wild," etc.  Since she isn't necessarily designated for a specific sport, I decided to go with stars as my embellishments.  I used various die cuts to cut them out and also added some sequins to make it fun.

Clean and Simple Guest Designer!

Hello there!  Today I have to most exciting news to share with you!  I've been selected to be a Guest Designer for Krafin' Kimmie Stamps for the month of April!  I'm over the moon!  I have been a huge fan of Krafin' Kimmie since day one and I'm so honored to share some of my creations with you this month!  To start things off, I have a fun CAS card to share with you guys.  The Weekly Saturday Challenge today is CAS (Clean and Simple).  You can find all the info about the challenge HERE on the Krafin' Kimmie blog.

We always enjoy your creations so be sure to submit them so you can have a chance to WIN a $20 gift card to the Shop!! Show us your stuff!! In keeping in line with the rest of our challenges (Wonderful Wednesday and our NEW Krafty Scrappy Challenge), we will be drawing one winner per month from all Saturday Challenge entries to win a $20 gift card!! You can enter as many times per month as you'd like!!

 I hope you'll join in.

I have to tell you guys this challenge was completely out of my comfort zone.  As you know, I like to use a ton of patterned paper and die cuts on my cards, so it was difficult to hold back on this one, but I really like how it turned out in the end.  This is Sarah Shopper.  Unfortunately, she has been retired, though you may still be able to find her here and there.  Krafin' Kimmie is in the process of retiring all rubber stamps and is switching over to clear.  That means many of our favorites are being retired so if you have a few on your wishlist, be sure to visit the shop to see if there are any waiting to be snatched up!

For this card, I just stamped my image and sentiment on Spectrum Noir blending cardstock and colored her up with Copic markers.  Then I drew a squiggly back-line boarder around the edge using my Copic Mulit-liner.  I paper-pieced some of her shopping bags, punched some fun little banner tags and scattered some sequins.

One last note:

Have you joined the Kraftin Kimmie's Krafty Friends fb group?? It's the best place to keep up with all of the goings on as well as sharing YOUR creations and getting inspired by other Krafty Friends' creations!!!

Pirate Puppy!

Hello there!  Are you ready for the weekend?  I know I am!  Today I have a fun little boy card to share with you using Pirate Puppy from All Dressed Up Stamps.  You can find him HERE in the shop.  As you can see, he actually has a little friend that comes with the set, but I just decided to use this one stamp by itself for this card.  The Facebook Challenge this month is to create a card/project using animals and/or insects so this little guy was perfect.  Be sure to visit the Facebook page to play along this month.  You can find the link HERE

For this card, I wanted to create a fun shaker card!  This was only my second time creating a shaker card and my first time doing one that was a circle.  I looked up several tutorials on Youtube and decided to use the fun foam method.  It worked out pretty well, I think and I'll probably use it again when doing a circle shaker.  For the insides, I just used some inexpensive sequins from the craft section at Wal-Mart.
