Club La-La Land Crafts December Kit

Hello!  I'm back today sharing some adorable cards made with the NEW Club Kit from La-La Land Crafts.  This month's theme was all about courage and featured lots of amazing stamps and dies that can be used for so many occasions!

For my first card, I created a sweet little encouragement card suing some of the new patterned papers from La-La Land Crafts.  First, I started with some teal polka dot paper and trimmed that down to fit my card base.  Then I added a strip of word patterned paper down the left hand side.  I die cut a piece of pink paper into a square and layered that on top of some white card stock.  Using foam tape, I adhered that to the top middle of my panel.  Then I colored up my bears and fussy cut them out.  I layered them on top of a green die cut ribbon hear and placed them both in the center of the square.  I stamped my sentiment on a stitched rectangle and added that to the bottom of my card.  For the pink ribbon, I used the Awareness Ribbon Die and trimmed on the tails to fit my card front.

For my next card, I chose some bold primary colors.  I started with some starburst patterned paper from my stash.  Then I die cut the heart ribbon from some blue card stock and adhered that to the center of the card.  I colored up my little panda,  fussy cut him out, and popped him in the center with some foam tape.  Then I layered the whole thing on top of some red card stock. I added the "fight" sentiment to the bottom of the card using red card stock layered on top of white to make the letters pop.  Then I finished it off with some die cut stars and enamel dots.

SugarPea Designs Warm Wishes!

Hello!  I'm back today with another fun holiday card made with the oh-so-adorable Hey Winter and Hey Summer stamp sets from Sugarpea Designs!  I just love both of these sets and I love that you can use them together!  The sweet little bear waving is from Hey Summer.  I stamped the little sweater on him from the Hey Winter set and it fit perfectly!  How fun!  To create my card, I started with some patterned papers from Hobby Lobby.  Then I created a little winter scene in the center with some snowy hills and a black and white background.  I die cut the Warm Wishes sentiment from white foam and layered some card stock on top.  Then I colored up my images and layered them on top with some foam tape.  A little page flag and button in the corner finish it off.

I just love how this turned out!  Seriously loving these little bears and hoping I get a chance to make even more cards with them before the season is over.

La-La Land Crafts 18 Days of Christmas - Day 12

Hello, On the La-La Land Crafts Blog, we're celebrating the Holiday Season with 18 Days of Christmas.  I'm day #12!  For my card, I used some of the new patterned papers along with these adorable bunnies to create a fun little winter card.  To begin, I trimmed a piece of pink snowflake paper to fit my card base.  Then I added some snowy hills using the Stitched Hills Border Die.  I also placed a few die cut trees throughout the scene and stamped my sentiment in the top left hand corner.  Then I colored up my bunnies with Copic Markers and popped them on top using some foam tape.  A white die cut doily border across the bottom finishes off my card.

A Christmas tradition at our house happens a day or two after Thanksgiving when the Elf on the Shelf comes to visit.  He flies in all the way from the North Pole and decorates the whole kitchen with elf-themed decor. He also makes a big breakfast for us all and brings my little one a few presents to start off the Christmas season.  These usually include Christmas Pajamas, a movie, some candy, maybe a toy.  My son looks forward to it every year and even though it's a lot of work, it's totally worth it to see the look on his face!

Thanks so much for stopping by!  Merry Christmas!

Sugarpea Designs Hey Winter

Hello!  Just wanted to pop on and share this fun little holiday card I made using the NEW Hey Winter Clear Stamp set from Sugarpea Designs.  I have to tell you, I absolutely LOVE this set!  The minute I saw it, I had to snatch it up, and I'm so glad I got a chance to create with it before the end of the season!  For my card, I started with some woodgrain patterned paer.  Then I layered on a strip of red buffalo plaid across the bottom.  I also added a white die cut scallop for a little interest.  I die cut the "warm wishes" sentiment from white foam and layered a piece of white cardstock on top.  Then I adhered that to my card panel.  I stamped out this cute little bear, added the sweater elements, and colored him up with my Copics.  I used the coordinating die to cut him out and adhered him to the panel.  To finish it all off, I scattered several die cut snowflakes around the card.  Such a simple design, but I really like how it turned out!
