CC Designs July Release Preview Day #1

Hello there!  Guess what, it's time for sneak peeks at CC Designs!  Today, I'm featuring an oh-so-sweet gnome set called Cutie Gnomies and Filmstrip die set.  Both will be available on Friday!

To create my card, I layered up some paper in my stash and adhered it to the top of my card base.  I decided to make a mini slimline card since the filmstrip die fit perfectly.  Then I stamped out my images, colored them up, and layered them on top using foam tape.  I added in some premade die cuts from my stash as well and finished it of with a sweet little sentiment and some enamel dots.  I just love how this turned out.

Thank you so much for stopping by!  Happy crafting!

Miss Anya Jeans Holiday Card

Hello!  Is it too early for Christmas cards?  No way! Today, I'm sharing a fun holiday card featuring Miss Anya Jeans!  I just love that this set can be used for literally any occasion!

To create my card, I started with some holiday paper in my stash.  I layered it up in the background and added a fun black and white check bow.  Then I created a crepe paper rosette, added some chunky glitter to the edges and adhered that down in the center of my card just above the bow.  I stamped out my image, colored her up with Copics, and popped her in the center of the rosette using foam tape.  Then I stamped out my sentiment, added it to the bottom, and added a couple of wire-wrapped beads to my bow.  Such a fun and festive holiday card!

Picket Fence Studios Sandra Summer Shaker

Hello! Today I'm sharing a very bright and festive shaker card.  This beauty features Beautiful Girl Sandra!  I've paired her with the NEW City Lights Sequin mix as well as the Wave Sun Stencil.  This card just screams SUMMER to me!

To create my card, I started with a piece of yellow card stock.  I stenciled my sun pattern onto it using my Life Changing Blender Brushes and some Orange Distress Oxide Ink.  Then I trimmed it to fit an A2 sized card and mounted it onto a piece of hot pink card stock.  I used my sewing machine to stitch on some tulle and filled it with sequins before stitching it closed  Then I stamped out my image, colored her up with Copics, and cut her out using the coordinating dies.  Using some foam tape and hot glue, I added her to the center of my card panel.  Then I added a stitched paper ribbon just under her and layered my "just because" sentiment on top.  I just love how this turned out.  It's sure to brighten someone's day!

To create this card, I started with some patterned paper and layered it up in the background.  Then I stamped out my images, colored them up, and fussy cut them out.  I used a die from my stash to cut the word, "hugs" and added that using foam to the bottom of the card panel.  Then I added my images just above it using foam tape for them as well.  To add a bit of interest, I die cut some stars from some pink iridescent paper and tucked them around my stamped images.  Such a fun and vibrant card!

Picket Fence Studios June 2021 Release!

It's Here!  Release Day at Picket Fence Studios!  Today, I have two very fun and whimsical cards to share with you featuring new products released today!

First up is the oh-so-cute froggy swim hole slimline card!  To create it, I started with the Scalloped Frame Slim Line Die Cutting System.  I die cut a large scalloped rectangle from white card stock and built my scene on top of it.  I die cut a light blue rectangle to fit inside the Scallop, then I tore a piece of blue card stock and adhered it to the bottom of the scene to mimic water.  I die cut the Cattails from a piece of green card stock and tucked it just behind the blue card stock.  I used an E47 Copic Marker to color in the brown parts of the die.  Then I added some die cut grass across the bottom of the card.  Once the scene was built, it was time to start adding frogs.  I stamped them out on white card stock using tan ink.  Then I colored them up and cut them out using the coordinating die.  I also stamped out the Pond Scene in black ink and cut it out with the coordinating die as well.  Then I added all the pieces using foam tape.  A stamped sentiment and a few flies finish it off.

My next card features a water scene as well.  For this card, I started stamping out the underwater scene and coloring it up using Copic Markers.  Then I stamped the Mermaid Dear image, colored her up, and cut her out using the coordinating die.  I popped her on top of my scene using foam tape and stamped my sentiment directly on the card panel.  For some added interest, I also added some of the fish from the Fishy Wishes Sequin Mix as well as the City of Lights Sequins.

Thanks so much for stopping by!  All the new goodies are available in the shop now!
