BIG Krafty News!!!

Hello, today I have the best news to share with you guys!  I have been asked to be a Krafty Girl for Kraftin Kimmie Stamps!  I'm so excited.  It has always been a dream of mine to be on the KKS design team and now that dream has come true.  You can see all the details HERE on the Kraftin Kimmie blog.

All Dressed Up Girly Challenge

Hello!  Hope you are having a wonderful summer!  Today, I'm here to share a very GIRLY summer card with you guys.  This month's challenge at All Dressed Up Stamps is to create something Girly so I chose this adorable and very girly image HAPPY HOLIDAY.  You can find her HERE in the shop.  Isn't she just the cutest thing! 

For this card, I chose some adorable papers from American Crafts and colored my image to match.  Then I added some fun summer embellishments and there you have it!  One GIRLY card!

May The Force Be With You!

Hello!  Today I have a fun little Princess Leia card to share with you!  This is Femme Fatale and you can find her HERE in the Saturated Canary shop.  As soon as I saw her, she reminded me of Princess Leia so I new I had to create a card with her.  While, I'm not a huge Star Wars fan, I do enjoy the movies and remember them from my childhood.  She was a lot of fun to color.  From her little side buns to her dress!  Love it! 

 

 

 

I have to admit, I've actually had this image colored for some time, but I've been searching for the perfect paper.  After a couple months of looking and coming up empty-handed, I decided to use a portion of 12X12 scrapbook paper from my stash.  It already had a night sky and moon printed on it so I thought I could make it work.  Then I looked through some of my stamps and found a cute little space monkey set from Stampendous that had some little stars and fun sentiment so I decided to use those.  All, in all, I'm pretty happy with it, but I do wish I had been able to find the "right" papers.

Play in the Puddles

Hello!  It's Challenge Time at Kraftin Kimmie and as Guest DT member this month, I have a cute little card to share.  The challenge theme this week is FLOWERS.  You can find all the info on the blog HERE.  So pop on over and be sure to play along!  I'd love to see what you create!

For my card, I used Make a Splash and you can find her HERE in the new Kraftin Kimmie Shop!  Isn't she just the cutest!  I love her frilly skirt and super cute boots!  So much fun to color! 

For this card, I used some adorable paper from Doodlebug and colored my image to match.  Then I added a cute umbrella die cut from My Favorite Things.  For the flowers, I chose some beautiful blooms from Wild Orchid Crafts and Magnolia.  A few other embellishments and there you have it, one fun puddle-splashing card!

For the puddle splash, I first colored the image with Copics.  Then, I added some white paint to accent the puddle and topped it off with some Stickles glitter.  I really love how it turned out!

Party Time!

Hello!  Today I'm here sharing a fun little birthday card!  This is Poppy, Revised from Saturated Canary.  Isn't she adorable!  I love her cute little pig tails and that little hedgehog is precious!  I have to tell you I had so much fun coloring this up and creating this card.  What's more fun than a party? 

 

As always, I picked my patterned paper first and then colored my image to match.  I had so much fun coloring up her frilly skirt.  Too cute!  Then I added a cute little die-cut cupcake and a few other embellishments.  I really love how this turned out and can see myself using this image again and again for birthdays!

Kraftin Kimmie June Release Day!

 

 

Hello!  Today is the Kraftin Kimmie June Release Day!  I'm sharing another creation using the fabulous Fiona!  Isn't she beautiful!!! For this release the Guest Design Team received a beautiful kit of fun summer papers and embellishments so I started there.  I picked a super yummy pineapple print for the background and then decided to make a shaker card.  The kit had these gorgeous sequins in it and I really wanted to use them!  Then, I colored up my image with Copic markers and paper pieced her swimsuit in a modern stripe.  I had so much fun creating this!  Hope you like it!

Kraftin Kimmie Peek- Day 3 Floatin' Fiona

 Hello, hello!  Today I have a special treat for you guys.  It's Day 3 of the June Krafty Peeks at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps and I'm thrilled to be a Krafty Guest and join in the release fun! Today, we are previewing a fabulous new stamp set by artist Annie Rodrigue called FLOATIN' FIONA! Isn't she just beautiful!!!  She also comes with five sassy sentiments!! This set plus all the other new sets being previewed this week will be released on Saturday night!! Trust me, you do not want to miss it!!! 

And, yes!  That's my photo in the banner!  I was so honored when Kim asked me to use it!  So exciting!  Now, on to my card:

 

For this image, we received a fabulous Kit which included the most delicious papers and embellishments.  It was so much fun to use and almost impossible to choose!  For my card, I picked out some of the super fun papers and colored my image to match.  Then I die cut a palm tree and added some sequins as the coconuts.  Of course I had to sprinkle in some enamel dots (my new favorite embellishment) and I found a place to tuck in my signature banner punch- I feel like I use it on every card, but I just love it so much and feel like it always adds just the right about of something.
