All Dressed Up New Release - Gaming Boy

Hello!  Guess What!  It's New Release Day at All Dressed Up Stamps!!!  You can find all the new images in the Shop.  So head over there and check them out!  Today, I have a fun card to share using the new image Gaming Boy.  I just love this stamp!  It's so hard to find good "boy/guy" images and this is one I can see myself using again and again!  Plus, he was a ton of fun to color!

For this card, I pulled out some of my old scrapbooking paper.  This set is called Generation Tech Stack from DCWV.  This stuff must be at least 5+ years old, but it was absolutely perfect for this image.  If you look closely, you can see that the green paper has video game controllers on it!  Perfect!  I always choose my paper first when creating a card and then I color the image to match.  I really liked that this paper was bright and fun so I decided to use it!

Next, I went through my 3D stickers and found one that had a video game controller so I pulled that out and added it to the card. The grey banner at the bottom was from the patterned paper.

I die cut some stars and added some enamel dots and a button and there you have it!

Thanks so much for stopping by!  Have a great day!

Smile, It's Your Birthday!

Hello!  It's Release time again at All Dressed Up and there are some beautiful stamps just waiting to be colored up!  Today, I'm Sharing: Smile It's Your Birthday!  Isn't she just adorable!!!!  As a part-time photographer, this stamp was perfect for me!  I just love your soft wavy curls and those little shoes are adorable!  You can find her HERE in the shop.

For this card, I just some adorable camera paper from American Crafts and worked from there.  I never really have a specific plan for my cards.  I just sort of work organically.  I add a little, take a step back, and then add a little more so I never really know how they are going to turn out.  I really do like this one though.  I love the color scheme and of course the pretty flowers, pearls, rhinestones, and beautiful image.  Be sure to check out the blog and Facebook page for more sneak peeks.  You won't wan to miss them!!!

Pirate Puppy!

Hello there!  Are you ready for the weekend?  I know I am!  Today I have a fun little boy card to share with you using Pirate Puppy from All Dressed Up Stamps.  You can find him HERE in the shop.  As you can see, he actually has a little friend that comes with the set, but I just decided to use this one stamp by itself for this card.  The Facebook Challenge this month is to create a card/project using animals and/or insects so this little guy was perfect.  Be sure to visit the Facebook page to play along this month.  You can find the link HERE

For this card, I wanted to create a fun shaker card!  This was only my second time creating a shaker card and my first time doing one that was a circle.  I looked up several tutorials on Youtube and decided to use the fun foam method.  It worked out pretty well, I think and I'll probably use it again when doing a circle shaker.  For the insides, I just used some inexpensive sequins from the craft section at Wal-Mart.
