La-La Land Crafts Shaker Card

Hello!  Hope you're having a great day!  Today, I'm sharing a fun little shaker card featuring In Style Marci from La La Land Crafts!  For my card, I layered up some patterned papers in the background and created a circle shaker element filled with sequins and die cut scissors and pin cushions.  Then I adhered that on top of my panel and added a die cut bow to the top.  I stamped my sentiment out on top of the scroll banner and adhered that to the bottom.  Then I colored up Marci, cut her out using my Scan N Cut 2, and popped her on top using some foam tape.

CC Designs June & July!

Hello!  Today, I'm sharing a fun summer card using the NEW June & July Clear Stamp Set from CC Designs.  This set is perfect for summer and contains several cute summer images and sentiments!  

For my card, I decided to create a cute little beach scene.  I used the new Clouds and Grasses Stencil to create the waves and added a sandy border across the bottom.  Then I layered on a palm tree from my stash, some fun little clouds, and my images.  To finish the card off, I added a die cut "hello."  I just love how this turned out.  I think it kind of looks like a postcard!

Club La-La Land Crafts May 2019 Club Kit

Hello!  I'm back today sharing two more cards featuring the adorable new Club Kit from La-La Land Crafts!  

For my first card, I decided to create a "thank you" card.  First I trimmed a piece of wood patterned paper into a rectangle and adhered that onto my card base.  Then I used some red ink and stamped out my heart background.  I trimmed that into an oval and layered it onto a white scalloped oval.  Then I die cut the heart beat out of some red card stock and glued that onto the bottom of my card panel.  I adhered my oval on top of that and then popped Marci on top using some foam tape.  I die cut my pill bottle, assembled it and tucked that in behind Marci.  Then I stamped out my sentiment and layered that behind her as well.  To finish it off I added a little pennant flag to the top corner and used the heart from the heart beat to layer on top.

For my next card, I used one of the little piggies!  I trimmed a piece of light grey patterned paper into a square and layered that onto some yellow card stock.  Then I adhered the whole thing onto my card base.  I die cut a small circle from green patterned paper and layered my little pig on top.  Then I tucked in a piece of pill patterned paper cut into a strip.  I die cut my heart beat from red patterned paper and layered that on to some fun foam.  Then added it to the bottom of my card panel.  I used the get well sentiment and some red hearts to finish it off.

La-La Land Crafts 3D Christmas!

Hello!  Only 7 months till Christmas!  Has anyone else started making holiday cards?  This week's theme at La-La Land Crafts is 3D!  I decided to create a 3D holiday card for my project!  

To begin, I started with a normal top fold square card base.  I used the stitched square die to cut a rectangle window from the front.  Then I added a little accordion fold piece between the front and the back so that when the card it closed, it lays flat and when it's open it stands up like an easel. To decorate my card, I used some birch trees and layered them on a hill of snow for the background.  Then I stamped out, colored up, and fussy cut some of the critters from the Cozy Christmas Stamp Set.  I added the little mouse to the center accordion fold along with the 3 trees die.  Then I added the other two to the front of the card.  I also added a little heart banner and some greenery as well.  I just love how this turned out!  So much fun!

Club La-La Land Crafts May 2019 Club Kit Reveal!

Hello!  It's May 15th and that means it's time to reveal the NEW Club La-La Land Kit!  This month's them is all about "Get Well" It features Doctor Marci and 3 adorable pigs who could use some "get well" wishes!

For my first card, I used the sweet little pig with the crutch.  First I layered some bandage patterned paper on top of some white card stock die cut into a scalloped rectangle.  Then I used the largest frames die and cut a piece of blue patterned paper.  I also layered on a grey gingham oval with some white scallops behind it.  Once I was finished with my background layers, I was ready to add my image and die cuts!  I die cut my "get well" sentiment from some red patterned paper and trimmed off the "soon" portion I adhered that to the top left of my oval with some glue and then assembled my pill bottle.  I tucked that in behind my little piggy and added the heart beat die layered on some foam foam.  To finish the card off, I added a few enamel dots and some highlights with my white gel pen.

For my second card, I created a little hospital scene.  First I layered up so

me patterned papers to mimic the flooring and wallpaper of my room.  I used a thin strip of grey card stock for the baseboard and added my colored images on top with foam tape.  Then I die cut the heart beat from some red card stock and added that to the bottom of the card.  For my sentiment, I die cut the "get well soon" and trimmed the "get" off so that I could layer it to the side.  I just love how this turned out!  So cute!!!

La-La Land Crafts Background Stamps and Stencils

Hello!  Today, I'm sharing a sweet little princess card made with La-La Land Crafts Background Stamps!  For my card, I used the little princess from the Dream Come True Stamp Set as well as one of the unicorns from the Be Unique Stamp Set.  I stamped them out, colored them up, and cut them out with my Scan N Cut 2.  Then I set them aside and started working on my scene.  I used the Just For You Gingham Background Stamp to create my green rolling hills.  Then I die cut my castles from a piece of grey cardstock stamped with the Once Upon A time Background Stamp.  Then I layered them on top of a piece of blue card stock trimmed into a rectangle.  I added a layer of grass to the bottom of my scene and popped my images on top with foam tape.  To finish it off, I added some yellow flowers and a few puffy white clouds.

Hello Bluebird Wild About You!

Hello!  Today, I wanted to share a sweet little card I made with the Hello Bluebird Jungle Littles Stamp Set.  This sweet little set includes some adorable animals, sentiments, and jungle foliage!  For my card, I used some patterned papers to create the background of my card.  Then I colored up these cuties, cut them out on my Scan N Cut 2, and popped them on top of this little rectangle frame.  I added in some die cut foliage as well as the little vine for the monkey.  Then I stamped out my sentiment and added that as well.  This card was pretty simple to put together, but I just love how it turned out!  So cute!

CC Designs Cute Birds in the bath

Hello!  Today, I'm so excited to share another fun card featuring the NEW Cute Birds Clear Stamp Set from CC Designs!  This adorable set and all other other new releases are available HERE in the CC Designs shop.  Be sure to pop by there and check them out!  

For my card, I used the new Clouds and Grasses Stencil to create my background.  Then I used a bird bath die from my stash and paper pieced it together.  I colored up my birds in yellow and cut them out using the coordinating dies. Then I arranged them on my card front and adhered them with some foam tape.  I stamped my sentiment and die cut it with a banner die and then I added a couple of butterflies and some die cut flowers.  I just love how this turned out, perfect for spring!

Hello Bluebird Pig Day

Hello!  I just wanted to stop by and share a fun little card I made using the Hello Bluebird Pig Day stamp set.  I absolutely love this company and these little pigs are just the cutest!!!  For my card, I created my background using the MFT Cloud Stencil.  I added some grass at the bottom with a die from my stash and cut the whole thing out using the X-Stitched Rectangle dies from Gina Marie Designs.  Then I die cut the word "SMILE" using fun foam and layered some pretty yellow paper over the top.  I added that to the center of my card and popped on these cute little pigs and chicks with foam tape.  I just love how this turned out, the perfect card for any occasion!

La-La Land Crafts Tropical Paradise

Hello!  Who's ready for summer??? Me!  Today, I'm sharing a fun Tropical Paradise card for this week's La-La Land Crafts theme!  I've create a fun little sunset beach scene for these two adorable hippos.  To create my card, I die cut some sand, ocean waves, some palm trees, and a cloud from cardstock.  then I layered it all together.  For my setting sun, I die cut a circle from yellow cardstock and sponged some orange distress inks around the edge.  Before adhering it on my background, I sponged the yellow background panel as well, giving it a sunset feel.  In order to create my sand, I used Copic markers E30, E31, E34, E35 to add some texture with dots.  And for my coconuts on the trees, I just added some some enamel dots.  This card was pretty simple to create, but I just love how it turned out.  Makes me long for a tropical vacation!
