Cut two Tags from white card stock (second to smallest size)
Cut one Stitched Rectangle from Wood Paper (middle size)
Cut one Poinsettia from white card stock
Cut one Poinsettia center from yellow card stock

~ now for the tutorial you have been waiting for ~

Adhere each of the plaid tags to the white card stock tags so that they line up perfectly.

Adhere the scored rectangle at the bottom white side of each tag so that the two piece are connected white sides facing in.

Using strong adhesive (double-sided tape), attach back of candy to the inside of the treat holder (white side).

Thread decorative ribbon through the holes at the top of both tags.  Tie a bow, closing the treat holder.

Decorate the front of the treat holder.  Using foam tape, adhered stitched rectangle wood panel to the center of the front tag (the one without candy attached).

Use W2 Copic marker and Stickles Glitter Glue to decorate poinsettia.  Layer together and adhere to the left side of the wood piece.  Trim off any excess that overlaps on the bottom so that treat holder will stand up.

Stamp and color pig image.  Fussy cut him out and adhered him to the right side of poinsettia using foam tape.

Stamp Sentiment in black ink on white card stock.  Use washi tape to mask off portion of sentiment so that only "warm hugs" stamps.  Trim into rectangle.  Adhered to top of wood rectangle using foam tape.

CC Designs Ice Skate Fun

Hello!  Today, I'm sharing a fun little slimline card using the NEW Ice Skate Fun Clear Stamp and Coordinating Die Set from CC Designs

To create my card, I combined all the the new Slimline Dies to create my winter scene from card stock.  Then I stamped out my images, colored them up with Copics, and cut them out using the coordinating dies.  With foam tape, I adhered the little skaters onto my card and added a sweet little sentiment to the top left corner.  Some Stickles Glitter and a white gel pen finish this card off.

CC Designs December Release Day!

It's Release Day at CC Designs!!! You can find all the new goodies in the shop NOW!  Be sure to stop by and check out all the new stuff!

For my project today, I decided to create a little Hot-Cocoa Envelope.  First, I started with some patterned paper, folded it in half and trimmed one side just a bit.  Then I stitched on some polka dot fabric across the front and stitched both sides of the pocket together.  I stamped out this cute little penguin, colored him up, and fussy cut him out.  Then I layered him on top of a die cut circle and added that to a blue Deco Square.  I also added a little die cut tree and some enamel dots to my scene.  After attaching it to my pocket, I stamped out my sentiment from the NEW Snow Peeps set and added that just behind the top circle.  To finish it off, I added my cocoa packet and a candy cane spoon!  So fun!

Big News!

Hello!  I'm so excited to share that I am joining The Greeting Farm Design Team!  I cannot even begin to express how giddy I am about this!  The Greeting Farm was one of the very first companies that drew me into stamping.  It has always been a goal of mine to join their team.  It's an absolute honor and I can't wait to get started.  Be sure to check out their blog post HERE to see all the other designers that will be joining the new team in 2021!  So much talent over there, I'm still pinching myself to make sure I'm not dreaming!

I won't be starting until January, but I thought I'd share a sweet little card I made using the Warm Wishes Clear Stamp Set.

To create my card, I used a Snow Background die from my stash and added a snow bank and a couple of die cut trees.  Then I colored up my images and fussy cut them out.  Using foam tape, I popped them onto my card panel and added my layered die-cut sentiment.  Then I stamped the smaller sentiment and tucked it just under the "joy."

here's a closer look:
