La-La Land Crafts Gnome Marci

Hello!  Today, I'm sharing another fun gnome card from La-La Land Crafts.  This is Gnome Marci and she's absolutely adorable!!!! 

For my card, I created a little window scene using the Spring Window Die.  First, I created a wall background using the Once Upon A Time Background Stamp.  Then I layered on my Spring Window and added some acetate to make it more realistic.  For the window box, I used the NEW Stump with Twig Die and Mushroom and Grass Border Die to create my grass and flowers.  The I stamped out Marci, colored her with Copics and paper pieced her dress using the Hearts Forever Background Stamp.  I popped her in front of the window using some foam tape and added a few enamel heart accents.  Then I used the Birch Tree Die and some clouds cut in green for the leaves.  To finish it off, I used the scalloped rectangle die to create a red scalloped border and stamped my sentiment on top.  I just love how this turned out!  So cute!

Taylored Expressions Hello Llama!

Hello there!  Today, I'm so excited to share with you a couple of cards I made using some of the NEW products from Taylored Expressions.  As soon as I saw these cuties, I knew I had to have them and I didn't waste any time making cards with them!  Both cards feature the No Drama Llama Die Set, Skinny Mini Fiesta Borders Die Set, Can't Touch This Stamp Set, Can't Touch This Die Set. 

For my card, I die cut a piece of white card stock using the Gina Marie X-Stitched Rectangle Dies.  I mounted those on black cardstock and sponged a light blue circle on the right hand side using Distress Ink.  Then I die cut and pieced together my llamas and cactus embellishments.  I layered them all on top of a black and white striped patterned paper from My Favorite Things.  Then I used the Skinny Mini Fiesta Borders Die Set to create several banners for the top of my card.  I stamped out my "hello" sentiment and fussy cut it out.  I glued that into place and added some enamel hearts from Doodlebug Designs. 

I have to tell you, I absolutely love how these turned out!  I will absolutely be using these sets to make more cards in the near future!  Total Cuteness!

CC Designs Business Don!

Hello, today I'm sharing a fun masculine card!  This is Business Don.  He is one of the new rubber stamps by CC Designs.  As soon as I saw this stamp, I thought it would make a great teacher card.  Unfortunately, there just aren't that many male teacher stamps out there!  

In order to create my card, I chose some patterned paper, colored up my image, and fussy cut him out.  Then I layered up my papers, created a little chalkboard using rectangle dies, and stamped out my sentiment.  Then I heat embossed that with white embossing powder to give it a "chalk" look.  I added a tiny piece of white card stock to the bottom to look like a piece of chalk and then I popped an apple 3D sticker on to finish it off.  I adhered Don with some foam tape and added a notebook border at the bottom as well.

Club La-La Land Crafts March Club Kit

Hello!  I'm back again today featuring the new stamps and dies in this month's Club La-La Land Kit.  Just a reminder, if you want to subscribe, be sure to do so by March 21st in order to receive this kit!  You can find all the information HERE on the website!  

For my first card, I colored up Marci and this little hamster chef using my Copic Markers.  Then I fussy cut them both out.  I used some patterned paper and layered that on top of a scalloped rectangle for my background.  Then I create a little table out of some woodgrain patterned paper.  I cut it into a rectangle and added two of the bowl dies from the electric mixer die to create the feet.  Then I layered two cupcakes and popped my little chef on top.  I used some foam tape to adhere Marci to the scene and finished it all off with my sentiment and a couple of die cut strawberries.

For my next card, I decided to create a shop window scene.  I trimmed some striped patterned paper to a large squre and mounted that on some cream cardstock.  Then I added a "table" by adhering a white rectangle to the bottom of my square.  I colored up my hamsters, fussy cut them out and popped them on my scene using foam tape.  I stacked up several cupcakes in the background, added a yummy yellow cake and created a cake stand using the bowl die from the electric mixer die.  Then I scattered a few strawberries.  In order to give my card a realistic feel, I cut a piece of acetate and layered it on top using some foam tape.  (I created it just like I would a shaker card, but I didn't add any shaker bits).  Then I used the scalloped rectangles die to create my awing.  To finish it off, I stamped my sentiment, trimmed it into a rectangle and made it look like a sign hanging on the window.

La-La Land Crafts Best Gnomies

Hello!  Today, I am thrilled to share these adorable gnomes from La-La Land Crafts with all of you!  I absolutely love them and I was so excited to create a fun little card with them!  Be sure to hop over to the La-La Land Store and check them out!  

For my card, I used several La-La Land Crafts to create a sweet little forest scene.  First, I sponged some clouds in the background using some distress inks.  Then I layered on some die cut grass and a few birch trees.  Then I pieced together the little Build-A-House Die and used the Once Upon a Time Background Stamp to give it a rock finish.  I colored up my little gnomes and cut them out using my Scan N Cut 2.  Then I popped them on top along with the NEW Stump with Twig Die and Mushroom and Grass Border Die.  To finish it all off, I stamped out my sentiment, added some clouds in the sky and a few leaves to the trees.  I just love how this turned out!  These little gnomes are just the cutest!!!

Club La-La Land Crafts March Kit Reveal!

Hello!  Today, I'm so excited to share the new stamps and dies from the March Club La-La Land Crafts Kit!  This month is all about baking!  It features baking Marci and 3 little hamsters!  Too cute!  Be sure to check out all the details of the kit and how to sign up on the La-La Land Crafts Website.  

For my first card, I decided to create a fun little baking scene using these sweet little hamsters!  I used a non-traditional card size so I could feature all of them!  I used some wood grain patterned paper for my tabletop and layered that on top of some grey gingham paper.  Then I colored up all these little cuties and pieced together the cake and mixer.  I fussy cut my hamsters and arranged all these little cuties across the bottom of my card.  Then I layered a few strips of patterned paper in the top left corner.  I popped my sentiment on top with some foam tape and added a few enamel hearts to finish it all off.

For my second card, I used Baking Marci.  I colored her up with my Copics and fussy cut her out.  Then I created a little party scene and popped her on top with some foam tape.  I created a party table by cutting a rectangle out of black cardstock and topping it with a scalloped rectangle die cut in half.  Then I loaded the table with strawberry cake and a bowl full of strawberries.  I finished it all off with my sentiment and stage curtain across the top.

Jaded Blossom Lucky Leprechaun!

Hello and Happy St. Patrick's Day!  Just wanted to pop on and share two cute little leprechaun cards I made using this adorable set by Jaded Blossom!  It's called Lucky Leprechaun and it's absolutely cute!  I love that you can change the faces on the stamp to create three different images!  

For my card, I stamped out my images, colored them up with Copics and fussy cut them out.  Then I inked up my card base with green distress ink and adhered my leprechauns on top using foam tape.  Then I cut a couple strips of patterned paper from the new Doodlebug papers and added some sentiments from the Odds and Ends pack.  To finish them off, I added a few gold heart die cuts, some clover rhinestone embellishments, and some white enamel dots.  

I just love how fun these turned out!
